  • Some new techniques with Metal Clay

Hi! Over the year, I've been experimenting with a technique I call Negative Space Caning. • Attaching fired pmc3 pieces to one another

I have read the post regarding making oil paste. Why do I need to use oil paste to attach fired pieces to one another? What will happen if I roughen surfaces to be joined and attach with non-oil slip, then fire holding temp for an hour?

  • Firing vessel for PMC bronze

I am new to this forum and I am about to try the new bronze clay. I am trying to find a "firing vessel". So I guess I'm curious about what others are using and where they got it. Thanks - FD

  • Shrinkage problems when attaching fine silver bezel wire to pmc base

I have read --and tried--a couple of methods of attaching a fine silver bezel to a base of pmc. I'm trying to do this to incorporate freeform cabs into my pmc work. I've tried just setting the bezel on the pmc and using paste (also tried art clay oil paste) to attach the two. Also tried sinking...
