I love hearing about new jewelry exhibits at galleries and museums, and when I hear about a really good one, I have to pass along the information.
Velvet da Vinci, a San Francisco-based gallery that features art jewelry, sculpture, and other contemporary crafts, is currently exhibiting pendants made by more than 125 jewelers from 25 countries. The exhibit, titled "The Pendant Show" celebrates the new book, 500 Pendants & Lockets. According to the gallery, "The Pendant Show is a testament to the vitality and diversity of contemporary jewelry. Whether manifestations of joy, courage, whimsy, outrage, longing, or loss, these pendants delight and inspire you."
If you'll be in San Francisco any time between now and November 30, you'll want to check out the exhibit. (And if you're lucky enough to go see the exhibit, let us know what you thought of it.) For more information, click here.
